How to Link DUPR to Your Club
What linking a club to DUPR actually adds, who can do it, and why your club's games already count toward ratings even when the club is not linked.

There is a myth worth clearing up first: your club's games already count. A round robin at an unlinked club is submitted to DUPR as an ordinary partner match, and it moves ratings exactly like any other rated game. Nothing is lost by not linking.
What a club link adds is attribution. Once your Pikel club is tied to your DUPR club, the results you submit are credited to that club rather than to nobody in particular — which is what you want if your club is building a presence on DUPR, running rated leagues under its own name, or wants its members' play visible as club play.
Before you start
Two things make this smooth:
- You're a club admin. Linking is an admin-level action — owner, admin or co-host. If you can open your club's settings, you're set.
- You have your DUPR Club ID. DUPR issues clubs their own identity so play can be attributed. Have the ID to hand before you start; if your club isn't registered with DUPR yet, do that first.
Step 1 — Open your club settings
From your club, open Settings. This is the admin panel: roles, members, invites and integrations. The DUPR option appears only for admins.
Step 2 — Enter your DUPR Club ID
Open the DUPR club link screen and enter your club's DUPR Club ID. That's the whole setup — you're telling Pikel which DUPR club this one is.
Step 3 — Have members link their own DUPR
The club link is the smaller half. Each player links their personal DUPR account from their own profile, or during onboarding when they join. Our What Is DUPR guide walks them through it.
A match can only be submitted for players who have DUPR linked — that is true with or without the club link. So the thing to chase in the club chat is player links, not the club one.
Step 4 — Submit your rated games
DUPR submission is a deliberate act, not a background sync. After a game night, the host reviews the matches and sends them with a single Submit to DUPR. Players don't tap anything, and nothing goes automatically. Singles matches submit too, not only doubles.
Pro tip
Do the club link once, then spend your effort on player links — that's where the ratings actually come from. A short message in the club chat before your next session ("link DUPR in the Pikel app and tonight counts") moves more people than any setting you can change as an admin.
Common questions
- Do my club's games only count for DUPR if the club is linked?
- No. Matches from an unlinked club are submitted to DUPR as ordinary partner matches and move players' ratings exactly the same way. Linking the club adds attribution — the results show up against your DUPR club rather than as unaffiliated play.
- Who can link a club to DUPR?
- Club admins. It's an admin action in club settings — owners, admins and co-hosts see it. Regular members don't need it; they link their own DUPR account from their profile.
- What do members need to do after the club is linked?
- Link their own DUPR account. A match can only be submitted for the players who have one linked, whether or not the club is.
- Does linking the club change existing member ratings?
- No. It changes nothing that has already happened. Each player's rating still comes from their own match history; the club link only affects how future results are attributed.
- Can I unlink DUPR later?
- Yes. The link lives in club settings and is managed by admins, so you stay in control of whether your club's play is attributed to your DUPR club.
