Questions
- How does this round robin generator work?
- Enter how many players you have, how many courts and how many rounds, and pick a format. It prints each round's matchups court by court — who partners whom, who plays whom and who sits out. The schedule comes from the same scheduler the pikel app uses to deal rounds.
- What if I have more players than the courts can hold?
- Players who don't fit on a court that round sit out, and the sit-outs move around the group from round to round. The table under the schedule shows exactly how many games and sit-outs each player gets, so you can check the spread before you print.
- Is the generator free? Do I need an account?
- It's free and needs no sign-up. Names you type stay in your browser: only the number of players, courts and rounds is sent to build the schedule.
- Which formats can it schedule?
- Mixer (new partner every round, everyone mixes), Musical Courts (dealt like Mixer, for up to 24 players), Double Header (two games with each partner before rotating), Fixed-partner round robin (keep one partner all night; pairs rotate opponents), Singles round robin (one against one, rotating opponents). King of the Court formats move players up and down on results, so they can't be printed ahead — run those in the pikel app.
- Can I run the schedule live instead of on paper?
